Delayed Sleep Phase Syndrome (DSPS)This “syndrome” is a problem because not everyone can work shift work. I am a school psychologist I must work when everyone else does. I’m a high achiever and wanted a profession that I have a great aptitude for, however mine, like many major professions, does not allow night and afternoon work schedules.
