Successfully reset my clock with AyahuascaI've had DSPS since my early teens and have been diagnosed twice independently.
Some time ago I ordered the ingredients for ayahuasca ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ayahuasca ) from an online vendor. I consumed it alone in my home in the early morning, a few hours before I would normally fall asleep. The experience itself was quite amazing but I won't go into details here. I stayed up the rest of that day and fell asleep around 9 PM. The next three weeks I had no difficulty falling asleep at 9 or 10 PM and waking around 7 AM. I had not expected this at all and it was the first time I had been able to keep such a schedule without enormous effort in a long time. Even when I tried to stay up late I would become tired and fall asleep. Whenever I've used chronotherapy at least two hours of sleep are lopped off. In other words I can force myself to wake up at a certain time but the time I fall asleep doesn't completely follow. I was on break from school/work during this time and eventually I drifted back to my normal schedule where I fall asleep around sunrise and wake in the afternoon. I don't know how or why ayahuasca had the effect it did. I can't be certain but I do not believe this was a 'placebo' effect. I hope this information can be of use to someone. I am not recommending drug use. Has anyone else encountered anything else with this effect?
Re: Successfully reset my clock with AyahuascaHey there -- how did you prepare it? Looks like there are several ways and I'm curious what worked for you. As a follow up, Kratom has temporary and diminishing returns, as well as addiction potential, so tread carefully should you decide to explore this avenue. At first it will keep you awake for about 5 hours, then affects quickly subside after a few uses. Seeya.
