I've had Nethrotic syndrome since I 10 years old now I am 20 on dialysis 3x a week past 3 years i can't sleep out tylenol pm or benadryl or something to help me sleep I told my doctor he does nothin do know if I have insomnia or not help please

You could very well have insomnia. A very common problem with people on dialysis is restless leg syndrome and periodic limb movements that can cause insomnia as well. People on dialysis do seem to have an increased incidence of sleep apnea, but usually not associated with insomnia. Do you have a uncomfortable sensation in your legs when you are laying down at night or sitting without movement. Has anyone commented that your legs kick all night long? Do you snore? Has anyone ever said you stop breathing at night? If yes to these you may have one of the problems I mentioned. A sleep specialists might be able to help you significantly in sorting this out and also treating your insomnia. There are many causes of insomnia and it is impossible to do an evaluation without a detailed history and exam.
