I have had major sleep problems all my life. Falling asleep and waking up several times a night and waking exhausted.
I had a sleep study done, the doctor who sent me, ear noseand throat, said i don't have sleep apnea but I should see another doctor for my sleeping issues.
What kind of doctor do I see and I live in central new jersey, any suggestions?

If you can get to newark or philadelphia, there are great sleep centers in both areas. Newark is at UMDNJ medical center and in Philly it is at UPenn medical center. You could also see the sleep specialist associated with the lab where you had the sleep study.
