Re: sleep onset insomniaMost people fall asleep in 10-15 minutes. Patients with insomnia can take longer. Perhaps what you are describing is when patients perceive they don't fall asleep for 1-2 hours but when studied, they actually do fall asleep sooner. Their perception is off.
