Re: wierd causes of insomniaInsomnia is most often a symptom of something else rather than a disease of its own. Insomnia is commonly associated with psychological stress, time zone changes, an acute life changing event(birth of a child, death in the family, etc), but can also be associated with restless leg syndrome, periodic limb movement disorder, shiftwork, etc. Alcohol, drugs and tobacco use can exacerbate insomnia. I hope this helps.
Hi, Im doing a paper on the causes of insomnia, I was wondering what some of the more unusual causes are. Thanks, Jim...
Re: wierd causes of insomniaI have a friend who is addicted to gaming. He's playing video games 24 hours straight sometimes- even when his eyes are bloodshot, he's dribbling because he's so exhausted and sometimes he's not even playing, just staring at the screen lol.
As a consequence, he barely sleeps and he's always a wreck. Is that weird enough for you?
