Provigil causing pain?

Post a new topicby Hibit on Tue Dec 16, 2008 10:03 pm

Has anyone experienced increased and worsening muscle pain as a side effect of Provigil?

I have searched the archives here and some people posted about this in 2001, and I would like to know if anyone taking it NOW is having the same reaction as I am?

Hi,
Sorry to hear you are experiencing pain. Is it possible that other factors in your life have also changed and that the cause is not the Prigivil but something elce? I started on this medication a month ago and have no side effects on it IF I stick with 200 mg/day. If I up the dose to 300 mg/day, I feel anxious.
Thanks, Crossfit Junkie

Hi:
I have been on Provigil 200mg 3/day for several years. I have experienced muscle pain, but I think it is from my diabetes and the beginning of nauropathy in my legs. I have not attributed the Provigil to the muscle pain, however. I hope you find what is wrong.

Thanks for your reply,
I think that the increased pain was maybe simply due to me being more active due to more energy..
