Narcolepsy

Is anyone using or toying with anything that is safer and as effective as Xyrem?

I wish... I am taking Xyrem and struggling with it. (see my post in the other Xyrem thread) I understand that GHB is better but I need to research it more and it is illegal in the US. I am on daytime meds that help but dont have any other ideas to substitute for my Xyrem... I wish I did.
