Hi,
Firstly, I'm an addict but I just want to offer a suggest that may help you. Try Al-Anon. It's a 12 Step group for spouses and family members of an alcoholic or addict. Right now you may disagree with me, but you'll learn that the spouse is just as sick as the addict himself. Whether you leave him or not will be your choice in the end, but with Al-Anon you'll learn the tools to make informative decisions. You'll meet others who share your confusion, fears, misunderstandings, and comfort.
I wish you both the best.
