Hello,
Since my husband retired almost 4 years ago, he has been acting out dreams, kicking etc. while sleeping. I read a book on Sleep Disorders written by a doctor and he said clonazepain would greatly relieve the symptoms - I think this a prescription drug though.

3mg of Melatonin at bedtime is supposed to work as well - this can be purchased in a health food store.

He's also used l-theanine (200mg) and he sleeps more peacefully - less kicking, etc.

Hope this helps.
