Do I have RBD?So I've always wondered why I have a certain problem. It only occurs every once in awhile but here's the issue. Sometimes I'll be in the middle of an angry dream and I go to attack a person such as punch them. As soon as I go to punch in my dream I instantly wake up swinging my fist in real life. Someone told me once while I was bunking with someone that they looked over at me and I was hitting the mattress over and over with my fist but I have absolutely no recollection of it. That's the only time I've never known I did such a thing. Anyways, I think everyone gets the idea. Opinions please?

Re: Do I have RBD?Well, Im not a doctor, but I undertand where your coming from. I have simular issues, have for years.
I once brused my husbands ribs while sleeping, and have hit him in the head. And wake up exausted, with no memory of any of it. My doctor says its lack of oxygen, and dealing with past issues in life. Im getting ready to go to counseling for the first time in years, now that i have insurance. I recommend, couseling for what you do remember. And a sleep study if possible asap. This does have something to do with sleep apnea as well, and the neurotransmitters in your head that are not getting blocked. Im currently taking Clanazepam for myn, It partially helps. For me if Ive had an emotional day, or upsetting day, week or month. It gets worse at night. For me sometimes prayer helps, and watching something possitive, or talking about it helps. I also use a CPAP machine, that really helps. I got it after getting my precription to get it. If you have any questions feel free to email me. Re: Do I have RBD?I have not heard that this disorder/REM disorder has any relationship to sleep apnea or the neurotransmitters being blocked. Wish I could find a Dr. that REALLY knows something about this. I had a a bad night last night with screaming and yelling at two different times. I still take 3 clonozepam. It helps, but I still have these episodes. Last night was the worst one in a long time, and I am not sure why. I was very tired when I went to bed. I feel tired most of the time.
