PLMD

Post a new topicby Sebastian22 on Mon Sep 15, 2008 9:19 am

Hello everyone, I am new to the forum. I recently had a sleep study done, the doctors said everything was normal except for some leg movements that woke me up numerous times throughout the night. Despite the awakenings the doctors seemed to think that I shouldn't be as tired as I am; however, I have been trying some medications to help with my sleep. I tried klonopin which helped but I think it stayed in my system too long so I switched to requip. As of now I think my sleep pattern is pretty good, I still wake up a few times but I fall back to sleep immediately. I still feel tired and lethargic though. I decided to go to a clinic that treats chronic fatigue syndrome to get a battery of preliminary tests done to make sure my fatigue is not caused by anything else. In the mean time I was wondering if anyone could tell me possible causes and additional treatments for PLMD. Thanks again.
