CPAP side effects

Post a new topicby martin12 on Wed Aug 27, 2008 1:59 pm

I have been on the CPAP now for about 3 months. When I first started it was great but I am now experiencing extreme dizziness like might fall over especially when lifting up my head fast, i.e. tying my shoes, getting out of bed. Also, a weird loopy fatigue, ear popping with muffled hearing and general lightness in the head. I have done some research and have found that there might be pressure in my ears. Has anyone experienced this and what did you do to help this.
Thanx so much

Do you have sinus condition? Or it may be an ear problem. You might want to check with an ear doctor.

I had these side effects when I posted the posting of side effects. The ear popping still happens but not as much now. When I swallow in bed with it on, I put my fingers in my ears. As far as the dizziness that subsided after a while and I have been on it now for a little over a year. Stick with it!
