first step to getting help

Post a new topicby Guest on Wed Feb 27, 2002 9:35 pm

I have been quite the snorer for many years now and also stop breathing in my sleep. Its to the point that my wife just can't take it any longer. I've had to sleep in another room for the last few months now and I really need to know where to go in my area (Toms River, New Jersey) to get some help in restoring my previous sleeping arrangement. Please advise
thanks,

There are very good sleep centers in Newark at UMDNJ and in Philadelphia at UPenn and Presbytarian Hospital. Call the one that is closer to you and ask for an evaluation. your symptoms are similar to those of patients with obstructive sleep apnea.
