More Sleepy than ever

Post a new topicby QunBee on Tue Oct 14, 2008 12:27 pm

I recently changed jobs from classroom teacher to a private sector desk job. I'm having trouble with falling asleep while I'm typing or doing just about any activity on the computer. I've been using a cpap since 2000 and wear it everynight. The only think I can think of is that I'm stationary now rather than on my feet cruising around a classroom. But, I'm not falling asleep on my commute home so I'm not sure it's just an issue of sitting. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? What did you do? Coffee isn't helping and walking around is only a temporary fix.

I did have that problem and I needed the pressure on my C pap adjusted. I would see your Dr. because they will have to order that change in your machine, if they agree that could help.
Hope you get better.

I am a school teacher and have problems staying awake: I have very severe OSA. I had my doctor prescribe Provigil and it has been great. This is the pill they give jet pilots when they fly for 40+ hours. I don't take it all the time, but when I do my performance and awareness are vastly improved.
