My husb has been using cpap device about 1 year now in November 2000,he mentioned he had seen a particular treatment involving injections to shrink or enlarge palate (he watching tv) when he mentioned to me,is re such a treatment available aw of?Thank ,

I believe what you are referring to is probably radiofrequency ablation of tissue. This has been approved by the FDA for snoring and is being studied for sleep apnea it probably works at about the same rate as surgical removal of the uvula and surrounding tissue, uvulopalatopharyngoplasty, however large studies have not been published.
