Obstructive sleep apnea and rls and plms

Post a new topicby Guest on Sun Jan 12, 2003 8:00 am

Anyone else experiencing these conditions together? The rls gets so intense at times and affects my arms as well. This is embararasing because my husband and I are very involved in church and civic activities. We frequently sit on a dias as we attend many banquets and luncheons. I have had to excuse myself from the table and the MC will still introduce me from where I stand at the back of the room. I take meds from all three catogories and I still have breakthrough symptoms at times. Just recently had my c-pap adjusted and the pls was still very active during the sleep study. The worst experience has been two recent surgeries I had, the nurses were afraid to medicate me for pain even though I had my c-pap. I really suffered. Another problem is that I have taken these meds for years and I have a tolerance to them which means it takes more med to relieve pain.
