Sleep hallucinations

Post a new topicby Guest on Tue Mar 29, 2005 7:50 pm

My FIL is 82 years old. He has been waking at night (almost every other night) and talks to my MIL like she is a teenager, or talks about his time in the service, or doesn't even know who she is. He is walking and talking during the time, too. Since November, he has also gotten VERY mean at night, too. Not violent, just mean talking. He can also fall asleep very fast at night watching TV, then wakes about 15 minutes later and acts the same. He's fine during the day.... this only happens at night. Has anyone heard of this or be able to direct us as to where to look for help??? Could this be a sleep disorder of some kind?
Any information anyone can provide would TRULY be appreciated!!!
