Okay,

I got my CPAP machine and I am extremely happy. It has a lot of functionality and it is super quiet.

Here is the problem. I have the Sullivan mask and used it first on Friday night and Saturday during a nap. Felt absolutely great and somewhat more clear headed. But the bridge of my nose (between my eyes) broke out. It had these red patches of raised skin and then on through the day, small white bumps in the red, raised area.

Is this an alergic reaction or just too tight of a mask?

My health care company is bringing out some nasal pillows to try so maybe that will be better.

Help, I miss my CPAP already!

what you describe is usually from the mask being too tight. a different size mask or nasal pillows might help improve this problem.

I am having problems with my mask and facial breakouts also.
I am scheduled to see a dermatologist in April to see what can be done.

Some of the areas look like hives of some sort. I hope it can be fixed but I would not do without my machine because of a few zits or whatever they are. I want OXYGEN!!!
