Using Cpap with muscle relaxant?

Post a new topicby Guest on Fri Dec 05, 2003 11:05 am

Does anyone have any experience or information about taking muscle relaxants when they are using their cpaps?
I've been recently diagnosed with osa and have had my machine for only a couple of days. It seems to help in some ways, but I've had problems with tension in my shoulders & neck area for many years and these areas are continually tightening up and, I believe, interfering with the air pressure. Tonight the air pressure elevated so high that I couldn't stand it, although I was doing pretty well for a couple of hours and got a little bit of sleep.
I'm very run down, by the way, very weak and can't do much including can't go to work. I have someone who is coming 3 days a week to help with housework, etc.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. --Jane
