Using the CPAP

Post a new topicby Guest on Tue Apr 09, 2002 11:31 am

I was diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea and am now using the CPAP with good results. When first using the machine I felt pretty refreshed in the morning (good night's sleep) but now into my 3rd week of using it I'm starting to feel a little tired again. Not like before using the CPAP, but I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed this in the initial use of the CPAP. Is there a period of adjustment with these effects? Thanks.

it can take people several weeks to feel better consistantly but you could also be experiencing a mask leak.
