Deep Sleep

Hi,
I am a healthy mid 20’s male with a wonderful family. I recently had a little baby. I have had many occasions where I am not able to wake up to my childs cry. I am in a deep sleep. I am afraid this problem will lead to disaster. Please let me know what I can do.
