Very Strange

This is something that really concerns me and I just want to know if this is some sort of sleep disorder like a hypnopompic hallucination. I went to sleep last night and woke up coughing ( I’ve had a horrible cold lately) and I turned on my light to get a drink and go to the bathroom. Everything looked very strange and scary to me. Look I'm no doctor, But since there are no reply to your post I figured my comment might not hurt. From my understanding what you experienced was not from a sleep disorder of any kind but from a panic attack. The intensity and symptoms are different for everyone but were you short of breath, palpitations, numbness in fingers or toes, blurry vision? The feeling that something horrible is about to happen, disorientation? Anyhow the list of symptoms goes on but like I said I am no doctor just my opinion on what this might be and if this really troubles you don't hesitate to talk to your doctor.
