Help me! I need advice!

Hi. As a child, I would sleep walk on on a constant basis. I have never completely stop doing it, but it was never a huge problem. Lately, however, I am doing it more, and it has become embarrassing and possibly dangerous. A couple of years ago, my husband and I went out of town for the weekend, and we stayed in a hotel. The second night we were there, I woke up in the wrong room. This was scary enough, but I had no clothes on! I have no idea how I got in the other room (it was across the hall from our room) because I did not have the key. The room was empty except for me. I wrapped the comforter around me and started beating on our door (and a guy came by and looked at me like I was crazy!). My husband finally opened the door after an eternity, and we high tailed out of there because I was so embarrassed. The only explanation we could come up with was that one the employees saw me wandering (naked! how embarrassing!), and put me in the room because they couldn't get anything out of me. They probably realized I was sleep walking. Most likely I was attempted to take a bath because that is always been something I have done while sleep walking. Since then, I have been sleep walking more and more. My husband is a very heavy sleeper so he is rarely aware when I do it. I find myself watching tv, putting my makeup on, wake up on the couch, and other things. I have even woken my kids up to get ready for school at 3 am in the morning. Recently, I woke up in the bathtub. The water was freezing cold (so I must have been there for hours), and it had overflowed. Apparently, I didn't turn the water off. It was a mess! My husband said that I had been in there for 3 hours, but when I got up, he thought I was just going to the bathroom. Now, my 7 year old son has started sleep walking. I am about to go crazy! Can someone give me ideas on how to make my home safer for him as well as me.? I have already had my husband hide the keys (yes, I have tried to leave the house on occasion), deadbolt the doors, etc. Is there anything else I can do (especially stopping me from taking a bath lol)? I am at my wits end. The doctors tell me to basically deal with it. Is there any medication that my help us that they haven't told me about? Thanks for any advice!
