is this possible for a 6 year old?

Post a new topicby Guest on Sun Jul 21, 2002 5:23 am

My son is famous for doing stuff in the midle of the night and not remembering. Last night was different, and I am wandering if it could be related. The officers found him walking down a main street bare footed. But when the officers stopped him he told them stuff that wasn't true and then about a half an hour later he started answering all questions with no problem. he also mentioned that he was going to see me at work. That is not like him. My question is could this be a resolt of sleep walking or just for kicks?

it is difficult to know. certainly if he was sleep walking he should not have been able to answer the questions fine. He may have been asleep initially and then woken up but he should have b een confused when he woke up. Perhaps an evaluation by a sleep doctor would be helpful if this continues.
