Scary Site

Post a new topicby Guest on Sun Aug 18, 2002 9:35 pm

Last night we stayed at a hotel. My son has been sleepwalking at home for about 3 years. He never done this at other places, just at home. Last night something woke me up, I heard something at the door, my son had been in the hallway. This scared me to death, not nowing howlong he had been there, or what might have happened IF I didn't wake up. Does anyone know if there is like a "divice" for him to wear at night to wake one of his patents to alert us when he may be walking. I hope so, if not, we may have spent the last night out of town with the family.
Thanks,
Very Concerned....

Someone who sleep walks can do it anywhere. Although it is usually not a problem, certainly safety is important. Some things that bring out sleep walking are psychological stress, and sleep deprivation. It would be important to make sure your son is getting enough sleep and staying away from things that can disrupt his sleep like caffeine.
