sleepwalkingDoes anyone have any information regarding sleepwalking as it may relate to the high functioning form of Autism called Asperger's Syndrome.
Re: sleepwalkingThe patients with Asperger's do have very disturbed sleep with increased arousals from sleep. It is likely that sleepwalking is part of this as disturbed sleep can bring out sleepwalking in many people, not just those with asperger's syndrome. Consolidating the sleep and preventing sleep deprivation are important parts of therapy in these patients as is making sure they are as safe as possible.
